The temperature and drift law of hot spots of oil-immersed air-cooled power transformers

Abstract This paper carries out three-dimensional transient simulation calculation of hot spot distribution oil immersed air-cooled transformer under different working conditions based on the finite element method, couples electromagnetic loss result unit to temperature field, and takes it as heat source establish mapping relationship magnetic flow multi physical field. Taking SFZ11-30000/110 an example, hotspot position are obtained. By comparing results heating test, effectiveness model is verified. Studies have shown that load increases, shifts along wind axis. After fan turned on, there also axial upward drift about 3% at spot, which provides a method basis for winding insulation dissipation design power transformer.
